Howdy, folks! It’s mid-October and our customers have spent the last few months creating some genius fall-themed meals and treats. From pumpkin doughnuts to carrot soft serve, there’s an orange food item for everyone, so buckle up and get ready for a tasty ride! Read on…

Hu Kitchen’s gluten-free Paleo Carrot Cake with Dairy-Free Coconut Cream Frosting is mouthwatering, to be sure! Plus, like all of Hu’s offerings, it’s made without refined sugars, unhealthy oils, artificial sweeteners, or dairy. Hu has also created a Vegan Pumpkin Pie Snickers (pictured at the top of the post), so if that sounds more like your thing, stop by to grab a few of those.

Doughnut enthusiasts rejoice! The Cinnamon Snail recently made Pumpkin Pecan Glazed Donuts. Like all of their offerings, these goodies are 100% vegan and kosher and 200% delectable. Stop by The Cinnamon Snail’s location at The Pennsy to try them for yourself.

abcV is nothing if not innovative and delicious and there are really no two better words for this new creation. Their vegan Carrot Soft Serve is topped with chunks of carrot cake and we suggest grabbing a friend and stopping by ASAP to sample it.

Ample Hills made waves with their seasonal flavor No Sleep Till Pumpkin. (Think dark coffee ice cream pumped up with pieces of pumpkin ooey gooey butter cake.) It’s not back yet but Ample Hills is unleashing a whole slew of fall flavors in the not-too-distant-future so check in with them soon!

Van Leeuwen is another ice creamery taking advantage of the season. Stop by to grab a cone or a pint of their seasonal flavor, Pumpkin Cheesecake, which is made with real graham cracker crust. Yum!

As long as we’re talking about dessert, we’d be remiss to skip over Doughnut Plant’s new Orange Sourdoughnut with fresh oranges in the dough and the glaze. The traditional sourdough fermentation creates a healthier, lighter-tasting product and is also easier for your body to digest. Get ‘em while they last!

Some of you are probably thinking, Hey, enough with the pumpkin. It’s also apple season, isn’t it? Well, you’re right and Amy’s Bread agrees. Stop by to this rad bakery stock up on freshly baked Apple Danishes with Pecan Crumble, Apple Pie, Apple Pecan Tea Cakes, and Apple Crumb Muffins. If you’re only here for the pumpkin, though, never fear. Amy’s also has Pumpkin Donuts with Pecan Crumble, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Pumpkin Pecan Sticky Buns, and Pumpkin Walnut Muffins.
